Department of Neonatology
The Marwari Maternity Hospital’s third level houses the neonatal unit. It has phototherapy equipment and warmers installed. The first level, where the operation theatre is located and has advanced baby care equipment, is where newborns are cared for following delivery. This neonatology section has been there since the hospital opened its doors in October 1985. With exceptional neonatal outcomes, a very low IMR in comparison to the national IMR, and a very low rate of neonatal infection, the typical delivery rate is between 12 and 15 per day. Additionally, we offer the impoverished free, discounted care from the point of delivery to the point of discharge. The department offers level II care and is fully furnished with advanced medical equipment.
